Together with the team, consisting of about 20 operators and 9 technicians, you will help deliver high-quality microchips that are used in cars, drones or the medical sector, among others. You will join an internationally active growth company which currently employs 26 different nationalities.

As a technician, your responsibilities include :

• The maintenance of the machines, both preventive and curative.
• You act as the first point of contact for the operators when a breakdown is detected
• You analyse and interpret the test results and register error messages, so that you can look for an appropriate solution.
• You think actively about the ins and outs of the company and make proposals to make the production process more efficient.
• You also provide technical support to the engineers during testing to improve a new microchip.

• qualifications

  As a technician, we require the following for start-up :
  

  • You have a technical background, this can be through similar work experience or through a diploma (A2 or bachelor).
  • You are open to working in a two-shift system (from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.) or on a fixed night: starting on Sunday (from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.).
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English: this is the working language within Melexis!
  • Working independently and setting your own priorities do not put you off!
