Medical logistic officer - Sorting blood samples


 

For an international medical company, specialised in clinical trials, we’re looking blood sample coodinators. You’ll be in charge of handling , sorting and relabelling incoming blood and urine samples.Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll be unpacking the (blood/urine) samples
  • You’ll scan their labels and put the found data into the system
  • You’ll make sure every sample is labelled and the correct information is on it; Where did the sample come from, where does it have to go .

Wat wij van jou vragen:
Desired skills and experience

  • You’re fluent both spoken and written in English. As this is an international environment, all main communication will be in English. A strong knowledge of Dutch is required
  • Accuracy is needed as the samples need to be taken care of in gentle way
  • Working on Saturdays isn’t a problem nor is working on Sunday when the demand is high. (like the COVID19 crisis for example)
  • You have experience working with a computer and you have worked previously with the MS Office programs.
There’s deadlines to be met, samples come in and have to be handled within a certain time limit according to the standard operation procedure. Hepatitis B shots are required to be taken before you can start this job. If you haven’t got them already, you can still apply as interviews can be done without them. When you start, we will always be in contact with detailed information on how and when to get the shots.
